This week in our Transforming Thoughts book club, we wrapped up our study of Ears That Hear by Patricia King, exploring Chapters 4 and 5: “The Way God Speaks” and “Words for Life Direction.”
We were reminded that the way God speaks is diverse and deeply personal—through the still small voice, His Word, even audible moments that break through in urgency. God desires a relationship with us so intimate that we learn to discern His whisper, and trust Him to illuminate our path.
💡 Chapter 4 encouraged us to value every encounter with God—whether a quiet impression or a dramatic word. Nothing He speaks is insignificant.
🧭 Chapter 5 challenged us to invite His direction into both big and small decisions, leaning into a spirit of peace rather than fear. When we train our minds to recognize His witness, we grow in confidence to walk forward in purpose.
We closed with a powerful reminder: God still speaks today—and He delights to guide, correct, and confirm as you build a life rooted in Him.
